Here is a Basic Checklist of Items to Start the Mortgage Application Process
- Complete copy of the signed Purchase Agreement.
- W-2s for the past two years (or complete tax returns if self-employed).
- Employer contact name and number for verification.
- Most recent pay stubs covering last 30 days.
- Last 2 months' bank statement of all checking, savings, and asset accounts (please bring all pages).
- Certificate of Eligibility or DD2214 for a VA Loan.
- Photo ID, i.e., driver's license or military ID.
