We Are Here to Help

During this challenging situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), nothing is more important to Touchstone Bank than the health and safety of our customers and staff.

In response to the outbreak, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam ordered all non-essential businesses to close to the public starting Wednesday, March 25th.

As an essential business and as your trusted financial partner Touchstone Bank remains open to serve you. We anticipate that some of our customers may face economic hardship due to the closure of businesses and the overall economic downturn. To address this, we have a variety of solutions to provide vital economic support to individuals and small businesses to help overcome a temporary loss of revenue.

Business Assistance

For qualifying businesses in need, we offer in house solutions that are made on a case-by-case basis. For details about these loans please call your commercial lender.

In order to mitigate the impact of these events for individuals Touchstone Bank is announcing the following Consumer Assistance:

  • Loan Payment Deferral: We are deferring loan payments up to 90 days with no fees and no credit bureau impact.
  • Unsecured Loan: We are offering a low rate loan, to existing customers, of up to $5,000, with six months interest-only, then amortized over 24 months. Customers must have an existing loan with Touchstone and need a checking account for funding and auto draft.
  • Quick HELOC: Eligible customers can borrower up to $25,000. We will lend up to 95% loan to value (LTV) when the existing first lien is held by Touchstone. There are no closing costs and no appraisal. Minimum loan amount is $5000.

Remember to Keep Your Personal Information Safe

With the overwhelming amount of news coverage about the coronavirus pandemic, phishing attacks are on the rise. Beware of online requests for personal information. A coronavirus-themed email that seeks personal information like your Social Security number or login information is a phishing scam. Legitimate agencies won’t ask for that information. Never respond to the email with your personal data.

To find legitimate information on the coronavirus, make sure you are going to reliable websites. Here is our list:

  1. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at https://cdc.gov
  2. World Health Organization (WHO) at https://www.who.int/ith/en/
  3. Virginia Department of Health (VDH) at https://www.vdh.virginia.gov
